In a rare case of a mystery that is still going on to this day, several beaches on the Salish Sea in British Columbia and Washington State are now known for being the site where severed feet have repeatedly been found washed up on shore. Starting in 2006, with the most recent foot being found in 2016, 20 feet have now been discovered in the area with no explanation.

While five feet from four people have been identified, the rest are of unknown origin and no other body parts have been found in the area. Even creepier, though this has happened with some regularity for just over a decade, there were reports of other severed feet in the area dating as far back as 1914 and 1887.

How Would The Movie Look?

Since this mystery spans so many unidentified people, there’s so many ways to turn this into a film. One could be by making several interconnected short films that depict the lives of the victims leading up to the moment where their feet are severed.

Another could be from the perspective of law enforcement, or perhaps a Spotlight-style investigative reporting team that tries to uncover the mystery for themselves. However you look at it, this would be an unconventional movie that could easily turn into a cult classic if made right.
