9. Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway And Mickey’s Toontown Have An Opening Time
Work has been progressing in Disneyland's Toontown transformation for a while and we finally have confirmation of when we can expect it to open.
Guests will be able to ride Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway from early 2023. The fun attraction is suitable for guests of all ages and takes you straight into a cartoon world.
Toontown has has been getting an update and at D23 we got to see a bit more of the El CapiTOON Theater including the Toontown Hysterical Society. Here we got a glimpse of the concept art for the exhibitions including "props" from “Steamboat Willie” and “Mickey’s Christmas Carol”.
Disney has promised that the essence of Toontown will remain the same with a fun spaces for families. Including Goofy’s How-to-Play Yard with a candy machine and Donald's Boat which has "crashed" into a duck pond.
The Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin and Mickey’s House and Minnie’s House will still be there amongst all the new fun things.
