Legally Blonde looks like the kind of flick that movie executives might conjure up in one of your nightmares - and the kind of movie that your girlfriend will insist you buy her on DVD for Christmas and re-watch on weekends from time to time. Nope:
Legally Blonde came from the novel of the same name by Amanda Brown, which was based on the author's own experiences of attending Stanford Law School in the '90s. Brown never got her degree, though: she wrote this instead.
How Close Is It To The Book? Pretty darn close, though the Elle character is a little bit different, and there are less "Hollywood" moments to contend with, given that this is a book.
