13 Great Actors Who Star In Multiple Film Franchises

1. Hugo Weaving

What You Get: The Matrix Franchise, The Transformers Franchise, The Marvel Franchise, The Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit Franchise Just with his franchises alone you get 21 films (not including upcoming Transformers 3 and the rest of the Marvel films), so right from the get-go, Weaving is a fantastic choice. What you might have to watch out for is the fact that, apart from his franchises, his solo endeavors aren't always up to par. Sure, you get V for Vendetta, Babe, and The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, but you're also ladled with quite a few stinkers like The Wolfman and Happy Feet 2. So, is Weaving your man? Also, don't forget this list isn't definitive by any means. You might be wondering where actors Sylvester Stallone (Rocky, Rambo) and Arnold Schwarzenegger (Terminator, Predator) are, and to answer your questions, I predominantly made this list from actors who have shown to have excellent acting ability and range (not to discredit the actors previously mentioned), but I ask that you also look at this list in that light, as well. So, made a decision? Got someone else in mind? Have at it!

Cameron Carpenter is an aspiring screenwriter, current film and journalism student, and self-diagnosed cinephile, which only sounds bad in certain circles. Devoted fan of comics, movies, theater, Jesus Christ, Sidney Lumet, and Peter O'Toole, he sometimes spends too much time on his Scribd and comicbookmovie.com, but doesn't think you're one to judge, devoted reader. You can follow him on Twitter to watch him talk to people you didn't know exist. Oh, and Daredevil is quite the big deal around here (my head).
