The Infinity Saga was, with exceptions here and there - Iron Man 2 and Thor: The Dark World being the obvious ones - very well scripted. The numerous movies usually had great dialogue, well structured stories and, best of all, affecting character development, but now, the quality of the writing has hit an all-time low.

The jokes largely suck, character development in non-existent, the villains are awful, there's no sense of continuity, stakes are absent, the narratives are badly put-together, and there's just a general sense of laziness to the whole thing. It feels like the writers have stopped trying as hard as they used to.

Even the notable exceptions - Endgame, Shang-Chi, and No Way Home - had their writing issues. Most notably, the inciting incident to No Way Home's plot was pretty unconvincing.

The TV shows have been a little better, but they still have many writing problems (aside from the aforementioned structural issues) and are generally 'decent' at best.

Loki, Ms. Marvel and Hawkeye are largely solid shows but the former two did suffer a bit from uneven pacing, while the generally fun Hawkeye was just a bit too low-stakes for its own good.

As for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Moon Knight, neither necessarily worked that well. The former show was a very tedious and poorly-written cliché-fest filled with surprisingly terrible action, while Moon Knight, even though it had a lot going for it, was just a bit confusing and dull overall.
