13 Huge Mistakes That Are Killing The MCU

3. Disney Don't Seem To Understand What A TV Show Actually Is

Disney+ have now produced six live-action shows (the seventh, She-Hulk, is currently airing), which is pretty impressive given the timeframe. After the first one, WandaVision, it was very easy to get excited.

With its razor-sharp TV references, hilarious comedy, memorable spectacle and heartfelt emotional storytelling, WandaVision is legitimately one of the finest MCU products to date. But as for the other shows? It's not so much that WandaVision is still the leader of the pack... more like it's the leader by miles.

None of the other shows have come anywhere near WandaVision, not even what is probably the second-best of the lot, Loki. Why? Well, it's simple.

WandaVision is a TV show. It couldn't have been told as a movie and every episode was a well-structured, complete unit that had a beginning, a middle and an end and flowed nicely.

The others, meanwhile, basically feel like feature films haphazardly cut into six parts and this meant that they never really came together on a structural level. It's a damn shame, as shows like Loki, Hawkeye and Ms. Marvel do have some really good stuff in them, but due to their structural issues they didn't hit as hard as they could've done.
