The Likely Answer: Snyder has hinted that Wonder Woman's presence may well relate to Lex Luthor and his mischievous interest in so-called "metahumans", bringing Wonder Woman out of retirement. As Prince's job in the movie is an antiquities dealer, some have speculated that this may be a cover to retrieve an ancient lost weapon that has come into Luthor's possession. This all sounds totally plausible in a way that wouldn't make the character's inevitable arrival seem tacked on or rushed.
