The Question: It's pretty clear that something grim has happened to Batman's former sidekick, presumably at the hands of The Joker going by the crude taunt scribbled on Robin's suit, but what exactly did the Clown Prince of Crime do to the Boy Wonder? The Likely Answer: This is going to go one of two ways: The Joker killed Robin or incapacitated him so badly that he had a psychotic break and ended up in Arkham Asylum. The first explanation is much tidier for a film already juggling so many plots, and would set up some awesome potential for a flashback featuring The Joker and Robin in Suicide Squad (after all, we know that Ben Affleck has filmed a scene for the movie).
