9. Hector (Gael Garcia Bernal) - Coco

The Role: Hector, a conniving trickster who resides in the Land of the Dead and requires the help of young protagonist Miguel (Anthony Gonzalez) to reach the Land of the Living.

Why You Should Be Excited: It's no secret that the sidekicks in Disney and Pixar's movies often end up stealing the show: just look at Dory, Bing Bong, Olaf and Maui to name just a few, and it seems quite likely that Hector will similarly follow suit.

Gael García Bernal may not have a voice recognisable to more mainstream audiences, but he's a terrific actor and should bring plenty of vivacity and emotion to a character who, you can bet, has a tragic backstory that he plans to rectify in the Land of the Living (perhaps a lost love he needs to make peace with).

If Pixar brings their usual emotional A-game, expect Hector to be another classic addition to Pixar's pantheon of unforgettable characters.
