The Zack Snyder version of Superman was pretty grounded in comparison to Christopher Reeves' version because that character was basically responsible for an entire power trope that suggested that a superhero could be given any power the writers needed to advance the plot.

At various points in his franchise, Superman was suddenly gifted the power of amnesiac kissing, time travel and super-strength on an insane scale, and it was treated as if it was all just every day to him.

Most Over-Powered Moment

Turning the Earth back on its axis to reverse time was a pretty big deal and moving the moon to block out the sun and depower Nuclear Man was right up there too.

Any Weaknesses?

Kryptonite. Obviously.
