4. Johnny Is Smoking Weed, Not Tobacco - The Karate Kid

What Kids See: At the school dance, Johnny (William Zabka) is in a toilet stall rolling a cigarette. Daniel (Ralph Macchio) sneaks up on him to see him licking the paper and twisting the end, before dousing him with a hosepipe full of water.

And just as well, too, because as any kid knows, smoking is bad and makes you a bad guy!

The Reality: Viewed again as an adult, there's the hilarious realisation that Johnny is in fact rolling a doobie, evidenced by his friend's patience insistence, "Got that number rolled yet, man?", as well as the fact that Johnny twists the joint at the end.

For those who partake in the occasional green, it's a tragic waste of the good stuff, and Daniel instantly becomes a little less likeable as a result.
