13 Movie Tag-Lines That Blatantly Lied To You

1. Yogi Bear (2010)

Revenge Of The Sith Tagline
Warner Bros.

Tag-line: “All Great Things Come In Bears.”

The problem here is so obvious, you can practically pick it apart word by word.

“All” implies that great things come from nowhere but inside bears, and “great” is an incredibly subjective term.

If the film was about the bears becoming smugglers or giving birth, the misguided pun would at least have some semblance of truth. Spoiler alert: it isn't about either of those things.

Mostly, though, it's the imagery that goes alongside this tag-line that is incredibly disturbing. It's supposed to be a family film, and before even making it into the cinema, the audience are picturing Yogi and Boo Boo's insides.

Hard to see how this one ever seemed like a good idea.
