Nominations: There are only a few possibilities here, namely Best Original Song, Sound Editing, Sound Mixing and Visual Effects, though given that the Academy hasn't paid any attention to the series before (likely dismissing it as too "silly"), count on just the solitary, somewhat sentimental nomination for the heart-wrenching Wiz Khalifa tune, "See You Again". 1 nomination. The Win: The commercial popularity of the song just might carry along with the likes of Adele's Skyfall and Idina Menzel's Let It Go in recent years and take it all the way to the finish line. The emotional impact of the tribute to the late Paul Walker combined with the film's ridiculous $1.512 billion box office cume shouldn't be discounted. 1 win, then.
