3. Terminator 6

Though the mere mention of a sixth Terminator movie is enough to make some groan, Terminator 6 does have a few theoretically awesome things going for it on paper.

First and foremost, James Cameron is on-board in a reportedly hands-on producer capacity, while Deadpool's Tim Miller serves as director, prolific screenwriter David S. Goyer (The Dark Knight) wrote the script and the cast includes not only Arnold Schwarzenegger but also a returning Linda Hamilton.

Terminator fans continually get their hopes up that each new movie will be the one to pull the flagging series out of its funk, but even with so much encouraging involvement, this feels destined to be another disappointment.

Basically expect it to be a naff spin on the same formula of Star Wars: The Force Awakens: passing the baton from the legacy cast to some young up-and-comers, minus most of the charm and emotional resonance because the franchise has already been pounded so thoroughly into the ground.
