13 Movies That Are Destined To Disappoint In 2019

1. Kingsman: The Great Game

Because everything needs to be a cinematic universe and have extra lore retroactively dumped in the audience's lap, an early 1900s Kingsman movie is apparently due to start shooting soon and release near the end of the year.

Matthew Vaughn will return to direct with a cast including the venerable Ralph Fiennes, Daniel Brühl, Charles Dance, Rhys Ifans, and Matthew Goode. OK, so that's not bad, right?

Except...does anybody really care enough about the formation of Kingsman to see a whole movie based on it, especially after The Golden Circle was so bloated and self-indulgent?

As jam-packed as the cast is and as talented as Vaughn can be behind the camera - with the right material, mind - this smacks of a film that'll fail to justify its own existence.
