13 Movies That Are Destined To Disappoint In 2019

9. Zombieland Too

A Zombieland sequel has been in the works for years and years, and brilliant though the original film was, this feels like it might be another belated sequel to a hit movie that's come together long after most fans were still interested in the idea.

Of course that has no bearing on it creatively, and though the involvement of original writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese (who went on to write both Deadpool movies) is encouraging, remember that they also wrote G.I. Joe: Retaliation.

Plus, the one-hit wonder director that is Ruben Fleischer hasn't helmed anything worthwhile since the original Zombieland a decade ago (sorry, Venom).

We know that Bill Murray is returning for another cameo and he's bringing fellow Ghostbusters alum Dan Aykroyd with him, but as almost every belated comedy sequel has taught us, digging up old gags and recycling them for another go-around is rarely successful.

The jury's out on this one for now, and while the involvement of the original cast and crew is heartening, it also feels like this should've happened 5-7 years ago, especially with audiences possibly going through zombie fatigue at present.
