13 People You Didn't Know Were In The Marvel Cinematic Universe

13. Michael K. Williams

To those who know their television, The Wire is one of the greatest shows ever to grace the small screen. Set in Baltimore, it offered a gritty insight into the city and the individuals on both sides of the law within it, adding stevedores, schoolchildren and teachers, politicians, journalists and more into the mix as time went by. Thirty six actors would appear in starring roles over the course of five seasons, but one character stood out heads and tails above the rest - Omar Little, played by Michael K. Williams, who just happens to be the favourite television character of a certain President of the United States. 2008's The Incredible Hulk is something of an anomaly amongst the films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, given that it has yet to receive a sequel and that its star, Edward Norton, was replaced by Mark Ruffalo when the character reappeared in The Avengers. Despite having a reputation as being difficult to work with, Norton clearly has excellent taste in television. Being a fan of The Wire, he had a cameo part written for Williams, who appears as a 'Harlem Bystander'
