Something In The Dark centres on a grieving mother who happens upon some mysterious glasses that allow her to see the dead. Soon enough, she comes face to face with Death himself, starting a string of events where she has to figure out why Father Time is aiming his sythe at her.

Billed as a ‘talkless’ film, the hook here is that there is no dialogue, only sounds and an audio track, which its creators – new talent Steven Aguilera is the man with the vision – hope will create an atmospheric and damn scary experience for viewers.

In the casting of Aussie actress Sophie Turner (not that Sophie Turner) there is scope for a grandstanding and heavily physical performance and it’s no stretch to say that not since Nosferatu has a silent horror movie looked this appealing.
