13 Supporting Movie Characters You Loved More Than The Hero
3. Quicksilver - X-Men: Days Of Future Past
Days Of Future Past is a stunning achievement in film-making (as long as you put aside all of the issues with the timeline). It's so great that it actually makes X-Men: Apocalypse seem a lot better if you watch them together.
The best about it is the way it manages to bring together the two X-Men casts (with new characters added) for the history-jumping story, even if it does somewhat over-egg the pudding with its focus on Wolverine. Impressively though, it's not Wolverine or any of the other twin X-Men teams who are the best thing about it.
That title goes to Quicksilver, who appears for no more than a hyperactive cameo and one absolutely unbelievable set-piece that plays up to his borderline sociopathic character as well as showcasing his powers beautifully. Sure, he's an acquired taste as a character, but he left a mark like no other character (bar maybe Nightcrawler) in that entire franchise.
