13 Terrible Recent Movies Destined To Become Cult Classics

8. The Hurricane Heist

Though it's probably the most self-aware movie on this list, The Hurricane Heist is still an unarguably bad piece of filmmaking, no matter how much the marketing leaned into its gleeful stupidity.

From schlock maestro Rob Cohen (The Fast and the Furious), this low-budget, high-concept action flick sees a gang of thieves attempting to use a cat-5 hurricane to cover their bank heist...and it goes about as well as you'd expect.

If you love dumb action movies, The Hurricane Heist is most certainly your jam. The characters are pure cardboard cutouts, speak with suspicious accents and are lent an odd amount of character development for such a shameless piece of dreck.

The finale, a delicious maelstrom of PS1-era CGI and surprisingly brutal death scenes, is a sight to behold like nothing else. Take from that what you will, but if you're drunk at 3am and need something to watch, you could do far, far worse than this.
