13 Things You Didn't Know About Friday 13th: The Final Chapter

9. The Woman In The Workout Video Is Familiar

The supposed workout video hospital worker Axel is watching for 'fun' in the morgue right at the beginning of The Final Chapter is Aerobicise (1982), an anthology tape directed by videographer Ron Harris.

Harris was a mainstay of the Playboy cable channel when it first started in 1982, and you can tell: because, surprise surprise, Aerobicise is not really a workout video. You can't work out to it, for a start - the camera is so interested in close-ups of the lycra-clad curves of the women it follows that it's impossible to actually do what they're doing as they do it.

In that sense then, Axel is legitimately watching the video for the purpose it was made. For our purposes, however, we should note that the clip he's watching features for the most part one Darcy DeMoss, who went on to land a small part in 1986's Friday The 13th Part VI: Jason Lives as Nikki, a party girl and - ultimately - a victim.
