Playing the role of Debbie - a character best known for having sex in a hammock and then reading Fangoria - Friday the 13th Part III was the final film of Tracie Savage's career.

Deciding she wanted a different career for herself, Savage became a notable broadcast journalist, covering such major cases as those involving O.J. Simpson and Heidi Fleiss. On top of that, she's also managed to win a couple of Emmy Awards over the years for her work as a news reporter and anchor.

As Savage has explained in several interviews over the years - such as with Happy Horror Time - having been acting since the age of two, she'd already made her mind up before Friday the 13th Part III that she was done with the industry. The only reason Savage ended up involved in Part III, was because her mother had booked her the audition.

So, while some may think that Friday the 13th Part III caused Tracie Savage to quit acting, the truth is that the decision had already been made before Tracie was cast in this third Friday the 13th picture.

Years later, Savage would have a handful of small TV roles and pop up in certain Friday the 13th documentaries, but for the most part, Friday the 13th Part III really was it for Tracie Savage's acting career.
