4. The Wachowskis Will (Probably) Never Make A Big Budget Movie Ever Again

The release of Jupiter Ascending marks the Wachowskis' fourth box office disappointment in a row, after The Matrix Revolutions fell far below expectations, Speed Racer didn't even make its budget back, Cloud Atlas only barely did, and Jupiter made just $183.9 million, only a few million more than its budget. After more than a decade without a commercially successful blockbuster, it's safe to say that studios likely won't give them $100+ million budgets anymore, something even the filmmakers openly acknowledge. Though the siblings will be kept plenty busy with their TV series Sense8, it's a shame that we probably won't see them back in the big-budget blockbuster arena again unless they agree to make a fourth Matrix movie. Don't hold your breath for that one.
