13 Unanswered Questions From 2015's Biggest Movies

1. Is Rey Luke's Daughter? - Star Wars: The Force Awakens

The Question: No bigger question has plagued movie buffs recently than the nature of Rey's (Daisy Ridley) parentage. We see the Force quite literally "calling out" to her at points, and there's an ambiguous flashback showing her abandonment on Jakku as a child, which combined with the movie's final scene has caused many to suspect that she must be Luke's daughter. But is this the case? The Likely Answer: We're going with no. For one, this just seems like too obvious a plot strand for J.J. Abrams of all people to want to set-up, and secondly, it just enhances the already high number of coincidences in the movie. Wouldn't it be more interesting if Rey was just a force-sensitive person and in Episode VIII, Luke can be the Yoda to her Luke? Sure, that's wishful thinking more than anything, but to settle on something as pat and predictable as Luke being Rey's father would be pretty disappointing.
