3. Avengers: Infinity War

The two-part Infinity War saga lands in May 2018 and May 2019 respectively, depicting Thanos' quest for universal domination, as he likely wreaks havoc on a host of superheroes when he acquires the Infinity Gauntlet. The Russo Brothers have suggested that the two movies may feature more than 60 characters, which will either make this the most epic superhero movie of all time...or the most messily cluttered. Still, it's worth giving the Russos the benefit of the doubt for now, and seeing Thanos get his first significant dose of screen time, namely actually engaging in combat himself, should be a huge treat. Also, there's probably going to be a ton of death on the hero side, and if Thanos is defeated for good at the end of Infinity War Part 2, it's sure to be like nothing else we've seen so far in the MCU.
