13. Dr. Ellie Staple Is A Supervillain - Glass

Though the trailers for M. Night Shyamalan's upcoming superhero sequel have focused mostly on David Dunn (Bruce Willis) battling The Horde (James McAvoy) and Elijah Price (Samuel L. Jackson), one suspects the director is leaving one of his devilish plot twists hiding in plain sight.

Sarah Paulson will appear in Glass as Dr. Ellie Staple, a psychiatrist who specialises in patients with delusions of grandeur, namely those who believe they are superheroes.

While the marketing points to her having a small but crucial supporting role, many fans have already suspected that she'll turn out to be the film's secret main antagonist, considering how obvious a Horde-Price alliance against Dunn seems.

Shyamalan has toned the silly plot twists down in his recent movies, and though this one's pretty predictable, if it's well-executed and makes sense storytelling-wise, then that's no problem whatsoever.
