After-the-fact comedy sequels have an incredibly spotty history at the box office, which combined with an utterly uninspired set of trailers so far may spell financial doom for this follow-up coming thirteen years after the hit original.

Though the relatively low budget will prevent Broad Green Pictures from suffering too badly, don't expect it to more-than-triple its price tag like the original did, especially with the far funnier-looking Office Christmas Party due out a few weeks later, not to mention the general lack of star power and transparent needlessness of this sequel.

It'll probably end up doing just fine on the home video and Netflix circuit, but at the cinema it'll come and go in a flash.

Estimated Box Office: $47 million (approx $30 million budget).
