10. Have The Avengers & Co. Cause A Lot More Damage
As we've already touched upon, the Avengers and the Chitauri caused a lot of damage in the battle of New York. Without people knowing exactly who they all were, they can't officially be held accountable for anything and it will have been really complicated for those whose property was damaged when it came to things like insurance. Although, in that instance, we're sure the world didn't mind on the whole, given that the heroes saved it from Loki's enslavement. That said, if it keeps happening and a band of what are essentially misfits keep causing masses of damage, people are going to want to know who's doing it, who's being made accountable and that they'll be insured to have the damage fixed! Therefore, we need more damage to occur so that the people behind the act have more justification and reason to back it. It seems like a boring and menial thing to mention with regards to a popcorn flick (insurance, really?), but just ignoring the damage these super-powered heroes keep causing would become silly and the more damage they do, the more reason to make them register.
