13 Worst Movie Performances Of 2018

13. Justice Smith (Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom)

There were worse performances in 2018, but were there any as flat-out annoying as Justice Smith's grating turn in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom?

His twitchy techie Franklin Webb became an instant magnet for fans' hatred towards the blockbuster sequel, with his high-pitched screeching and general cluelessness proving immensely frustrating.

Granted, Smith had virtually no chance to save the character as written, but even so, it's not a terribly positive sign of your acting chops when a good deal of the audience is actively anticipating your demise. A demise that never even arrived, sadly.

The movie as a whole was a baffling misfire, and while Franklin isn't the script's most offensive creative call, nothing else in Fallen Kingdom is quite this obnoxious.

Fingers crossed Smith's a little more charming in the upcoming Detective Pikachu.
