138 Mistakes In The Matrix You Didn't Notice

97. Floor Sliding

Neo and Morpheus have their big training fight. Morpheus grabs Neo and throws him across the room. Neo slides on the floor and comes to a stop with his face inline with the black line on the floor. But in the next shot, he is over the line and then back again.

96. Hold On Tight!

Kudos to Keanu and Lawrence Fishburne, they did put their bodies through a lot in this scene. Considering they had to learn everything from scratch, they put an impressive set of moves on show. But when Neo runs up the wall and does a black flip, you can see he is holding on to wires attached to the belt around his waist.

95. Landing Error

Morpheus and Neo continue their training. The land on top of a building and you get a CGI shot of the top of the city. You can see Morpheus and Neo have landed a good distance from the building on the rooftop but when we get our first close-up shot, they are standing right next to the building.

94. Fake Motion Fuzzy Blur

Nothing says SPEED like a fake motion blur and that is exactly what they used to show how fast Neo was running when he's about to make his jump from one building to the next. But the special effects team forgot to remove the fuzzy bubble around Neo when they were inserting the fake blur.

93. Safety Harness In Shot

When Neo does try to make the jump to the other building, he fails to make the distance and ends up falling to the street below. But as he's falling, you can clearly see Keanu Reeves is wearing a safety harness as he waves and screams in front of a green screen. In 1999, audiences were blown away by the special effects in the Matrix, but watch it now and the green screen is so obvious, only George Lucas can get exited by it.

92. Neo's Sleeve

After he unceremoniously crash lands on the street, the sleeve on his jacket is almost halfway up his arm. But right in the next shot, it is covering his wrist.
