14 Actors Who Desperately Need A Hit Movie

1. Clive Owen

Clive Owen remains an extremely bizarre Hollywood anomaly: he's handsome, charming and a great actor, and yet he hasn't had a starring hit since 2006's Spike Lee classic Inside Man.

Entertaining, mainstream movies like Shoot 'Em Up, The International and Duplicity oddly fell on deaf ears with audiences, causing Hollywood to seemingly give up on him, and in more recent years he's instead found success on Steven Soderbergh's acclaimed TV show The Knick.

Owen will next be seen in a supporting capacity in the probable box office bomb Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, but other than that his prospects for a breakout financial hit seem rather limited. Shame on Hollywood for sleeping on this guy for so damn long. What a waste.
