6. Indiana Jones 5

A controversial choice, perhaps, but with every passing day it becomes less likely that Indiana Jones 5 will actually happen, at least in its current planned iteration.

In 2016, Disney confirmed that Indy 5 would release on July 19, 2019 with Harrison Ford returning to star once again while Steven Spielberg directs. However, last year the film was delayed by a year to July 10, 2020, and this past July, it was again delayed to July 9, 2021.

Reports claim that Spielberg is hoping to shoot the film next spring, when Ford will be a spry 77 years of age. As great as Ford looks, it's hard to imagine him convincingly swinging around, cracking whips and beating up guys one-third his age.

While Ford's likely to be with us for a good while yet - touch wood - the delays speak to a project that's struggling creatively, and may be continually delayed until Ford ages out of the role, which is pretty damn imminent.

It's more probable we'll get an Indy reboot-sequel with a young acquaintance of Indy's some time after Ford hangs up the role or passes away.
