14 Cameos In Huge Movies You Probably Missed

9. Linda Blair - Scream

The Exorcist actress Linda Blair, who of course played the iconic Regan in William Friedkin's horror classic, appears briefly in Wes Craven's meta-horror Scream as a news reporter who hounds Sidney (Neve Campbell) about the Woodsboro murders.

Blair has just a few lines and about 10 seconds of screen time as she asks, "Sidney, how does it feel to be almost brutally butchered? People want to know. They have a right to know! How does it feel?"

Blair's face is visible on screen for a few seconds, but given the fairly low profile the Oscar-nominated actress kept with audiences post-Exorcist (at least in terms of good movies), it's not massively shocking that she went mostly unnoticed.

It's sure as hell more subtle than Craven's own cameo in the movie, where he plays a long-haired janitor wearing Freddy Krueger's distinctive red-and-black jumper.
