The Universe: The countless original scripts the Coens have written, such as Blood Simple, Raising Arizona, Miller's Crossing, Fargo, The Big Lebowski, Burn After Reading, A Serious Man and Inside Llewyn Davis all co-exist inside the same weird and wonderfully off-kilter world. Why It'd Be Awesome: One Coen super-fan made this impressive montage of the directors' very best movies, which demonstrates just how consistent their style, in terms of dialogue, performance, framing and tone, has been throughout their movies. To see future Coen movies draw attention to and insist upon these previous stories in subtle ways could be potentially hilarious. A cameo from The Dude in Hail, Caesar!, anyone? How Likely Is It?: 2/10. Aside from fanboy speculation, the Coens just seem like they have too much integrity as filmmakers to try and force a distinctly shared universe when there's no major artistic reason to do so. Much like the Liam Neeson one, this'll have to live on in the minds of imaginative fans instead.
