The Universe: 20th Century Fox currently owns the rights to two major Marvel properties: X-Men (including Deadpool) and Fantastic Four, and audiences have been begging them for years to integrate the two franchises into one shared mini-Marvel Cinematic Universe. Why It'd Be Awesome: Because Marvel Studios' MCU has proven just how successful these shared comic worlds can be when done right, and simply, it'd be awesome to see the X-Men and Fantastic Four either facing off against or teaming up with one another. Who wouldn't pay to see that? How Likely Is It?: 7/10. It'd be a huge oversight if this didn't happen. In fairness, it has been in the works since 2012, but last year, Simon Kinberg, who writes for both franchises, has downplayed any interplay between the two series coming any time soon. It sounds like the plan right now is to focus on fixing Fantastic Four, but if the new movie does work out, then the crossover is almost certain to happen a few years down the line.
