5. Leia Kisses Her Brother...Several Times (A New Hope & The Empire Strikes Back)
The Scenes: Leia kisses Luke several times throughout the movies, unaware that he's actually her brother. Firstly, when the pair are evading Stormtrooper gunfire, she kisses him on the cheek "for luck", and does the same again just ahead of A New Hope's final battle. The worst offense by far comes in Empire, when after Han Solo riles Leia up, she plans a huge lip-lock on Luke, to his clear shock. Were tongues involved? Luke's smug face afterwards probably means yes: after all, he did call her "beautiful" when he saw her for the first time on a hologram. Why It's Creepy: In fairness, there's nothing inherently creepy about a man calling his sister beautiful or a woman kissing her brother on the cheek, but the fact that neither of them knew they were related at this point makes one wonder exactly what their intentions were. And then to make matters worse, when Luke lets Leia know that they are, in fact, brother and sister Leia's response is "I know. Somehow, I've always known". So why, then, did she think it appropriate to plant a massive lip-on-lip kiss on him in order to spite Han in Empire Strikes Back? Somehow this probably won't be mentioned again in the new movies, one suspects...
