14 Horror Film Sequels You Didn't Know Were In The Works
4. Jeepers Creepers 3 or Jeepers Creepers: Cathedral
Monster movies come and go, but the Creeper always comes back in 23 years. Well, technically that would mean this movie would be released in 2024, but you get the idea. The first movie was pretty awesome and is a staple in most countdown to Halloween playlists. It introduced the world to Justin Long while also revamping the old eating a tongue out of a severed head gag. The 2003 sequel, Jeepers Creepers 2, attempted to continue the original story, showing audiences a troupe of high school basketball players and their cheerleaders facing off against the Creeper just days after Trish and Darry set out of the ring. It failed to win over audiences, though, by introducing a character who was suffering from visions of Darry warding her away from the Creeper, adding an unnecessary level of paranormal to the already out of this world plot line. This new installment can't fail though because it's bringing Trish back. Shes a mom now and her son keeps popping up in her nightmares suffering the same fate as her brother, Darry (Spoiler Alert: he dies at the end of the first one). She means to put an end to the Creeper once and for all so she teams up with a town full of people who have witnessed the creatures return in hopes she can kill it and avenge her brothers death, while also preventing the premature death of her own son. This is set to be released next year.
