14 Impossible Movie Locations You Would Love To Visit

6. Wonderland (Alice In Wonderland)

Alice In Wonderland Personally, Wonderland looks like hell to me; all of that craziness, the nonsense never-ending - awful! However, it is called Wonderland for a reason and some people love wacky mayhem, non-stop. There are all sorts of theories that C.S. Lewis was inspired to write the book after taking drugs or in fact used the book itself as a giant metaphor for drug usage. These theories have never been proven and a lot of people generally just ignore them - it would be nice if he just wrote the book to entertain children would it not? Although Wonderland is pretty weird, I don't think anyone's drug trips have been THAT weird. The Disney animated classic and Tim Burton's recent and unnecessary epic both depict Wonderland in a similar fashion but with some differences - Burton's Wonderland is a lot more grim and looks more dirty than magical. If I had to choose which Wonderland I would visit, it would be the animated world.

5. Carl's House (Up)

Up Up made a lot of us think back to when we were kids, to that one time we grabbed three balloons expecting to be lifted up off the ground. Despite the daft premise, Up was so much more than a film about a guy who uses millions of balloons to float his house away. It was the first animated film since Bambi to make most adults cry and was overall a really heart-warming and entertaining film. Although it is obviously impossible to travel the world in a balloon-powered home, Up made hundreds of people wish helium was stronger. There were even a few scientific studies to work out exactly how many balloons it would take to lift up a house (105,854 balloons according to Wired). This just shows that although it seems like a relatively simple concept, a lot of people were kicking themselves for never having dreamed about such things. If you do plan on travelling the world this way, remember to take some extra balloons and canisters of helium for topping up.
