14 Impossible Movie Locations You Would Love To Visit

4. Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory (Charlie And The Chocolate Factory)

charlie and the chocolate factory For chocolate fans, even your normal modern chocolate factory looks pretty awesome. A chocolate factory with a chocolate waterfall, edible grass, licking wallpaper and oompa-loompas however, would just be perfect. Running around a chocolate factory is everyone's dream as a child and since Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory was released, every child has dreamed of being Charlie Bucket. The new green-screen version of the factory as seen in Tim Burton's surprisingly book-faithful Charlie and the Chocolate Factory doesn't exactly inspire the same amount of awe as the original simply because you know it isn't real. Remember when people actually used to build sets for films?

3. 1920's New York City (The Great Gatsby)

The Great Gatsby The Great Gatsby wasn't exactly the best film ever, nor was it a good adaptation to many people. However, the way director Baz Lurhmann portrayed 1920's New York City made it look like the city that REALLY never sleeps. Like Gatsby's parties, the vibrant and bustling environment looks nothing like what modern day New York looks like. To get the chance to see what New York looked like just as it was starting to get the worldwide reputation it still maintains today would be fantastic. Obviously it is impossible for us to do so but the few scenes in The Great Gatsby of 1920's Times Square were exactly how we imagine it would have looked like back then.
