10. Kylo Ren

Kylo Ren may have only appeared in one Star Wars movie to date, but he's already one of the most fascinating and potential-filled characters in the entire franchise.

Yes, his childlike temper tantrums make him emotionally unstable, but they also exemplify the rage burning deep inside him, and honestly, Kylo's murder of his own father, Han Solo, was enough in of itself to earn him a spot on this list (a cheap shot though it was). Also, don't forget that the guy can freeze blaster shots in mid-air, which is all kinds of awesome.

Though Kylo was shown to be a solid combatant and comprehensive mental manipulator in The Force Awakens, he's clearly going to be much stronger by the time The Last Jedi rolls around, having returned to Supreme Leader Snoke for further training, so expect him to leap up a few spots on this list by the end of that movie.

If The Last Jedi gives us a more emotionally stable, resolute Kylo, then he may very well put up a much stronger fight this time.
