Just from this cover, you would assume Undisputed is some sort of Lethal Weapon style action movie, right? It’ll be a buddy cop flick where the third act involves a slew of explosions and flying away in helicopters. Hell, the tagline even promises the "ultimate showdown," so maybe there'll be some sort of awesome shootout at the end or something like that....
Not only is that not the right plot, it’s not even the right genre.
The real film is about a heavyweight boxer who’s convicted of rape and sent to prison. Fun action movie, huh? Make sure to pop some popcorn for this one. Even though a large section of the poster is made up of a huge explosion, there isn't a single explosion in the entire movie. A helicopter does appear once, but not in any sort of action context that this cover implies.
Imagine picking this up at the video store expecting a fun action film with Wesley Snipes and Ving Rhames, only to get a somewhat heavy drama about a rapist boxer. Not exactly the Friday night viewing experience you were expecting.
