If you came across this DVD for Little Shop of Horrors, you would naturally assume it’s a movie starring Jack Nicholson, and that he'd be playing lead character Seymour. After all he’s the only actor on the cover... But as with Jesse Eisenberg, this was simply meant to capitalize on someone who was way better than the film.

In reality, Nicholson is only in it for one scene as sadistic dentist Dr Farb's patient Arthur Denton (the same character played by Bill Murray in the musical remake).

So despite him being beside the killer plant on the cover, the pair actually enjoy no interaction at all.

And it’s not just this DVD, either. Pretty much all of the covers for every re-release of Little Shop features Jack Nicholson prominently, including one for which the whole cover is just his face, and it's clearly a picture taken of Nicholson later in his career. Even on the covers where he isn’t pictured, his name is still given top billing.

How can you claim a movie stars somebody who’s in three minutes of it?
