4. The Entire Family - Lost in Space
Why on God's green Earth would you agree to dragging your family through space for ten years is beyond comprehension. Why as a single military soldier with no back up would you agree to go on such a mission is also beyond comprehension. Why you wouldn't immediately incarcerate the insanely creepy Dr. Smith is also beyond comprehension. Sure they don't trust Smith (Gary Oldman) right from the beginning, but why would they bring him along? He is clearly a bad guy. Throw that dude out an airlock. And stay on Earth. Whatever is happening there cannot be nearly as bad as what happens to these people once they get lost for eternity in space. Good luck with that!
