Release Date: May 19
Why It Looks Terrible: It's a glorified reboot of the original not-terrible trilogy, with a decidedly less-appealing cast and sense of humour that, at least from the trailer, seems high on cringe and low on actual laughs. The only funny thing about it is how damn cheap and low-effort the whole thing looks.
Why It'll Still Make A Profit: There's very little in the way of child-friendly fare hitting cinemas from mid-April to mid-May, so while The Long Haul opens opposite Alien: Covenant, it releases with zero direct competition and will probably recoup its scant price tag in its opening weekend, which means more of these movies are almost certainly on the way.
