14 Things That Would Have Happened After 2017 Movies Ended

3. Asia Is Probably Wiped Out - Life

Life Ending

Life ends (ha!) with Dr. David Jordan's (Jake Gyllenhaal) escape pod, containing both himself and the alien organism Calvin, accidentally crash-landing in Vietnam.

As a fleet of fisherman investigate the pod despite Jordan's urging not to, the clear suggestion is that Calvin will manage to escape the pod and wreak havoc on Earth.

Considering Calvin's ability to withstand enormous amounts of punishment and how quickly he grows in size, it's safe to assume that humanity is pretty much screwed. Regular folk won't have a clue what to do, and even military personnel likely wouldn't be able to do much to stop Calvin becoming a colossal blob that slaughters every human being it can find.

In no time Calvin would turn most of Asia into a barren wasteland, though depending on his ability to swim, perhaps other continents would be safe...for a while.
