Don't be surprised if the probable success of Kong: Skull Island prompts Warner Bros. to press on with the already-confirmed Godzilla vs. Kong movie, pulling it forward from its 2020 release.
Why It Still Could: The 2014 movie made back more than three-fold its budget, and it could easily move forward without the original cast or director Gareth Edwards. Plus, it's Godzilla, so people will go see it regardless.
