12. The Miscarriage Subplot - Tag

Tag received mixed-to-positive reviews from critics, though there were vocal complaints about a brief subplot in which Jerry (Jeremy Renner) and his soon-to-be-wife Susan (Leslie Bibb) fake a miscarriage to prevent Jerry's pals from tagging him.

It's a boundary-pushing sequence, for sure, and one that simply proved too dark and discomforting for those hoping for a light, easy night out at the movies.

Props to the film for not just half-a**ing it, though. Once Chilli (Jake Johnson) learns of the ruse, he not-so-subtly implies he wants Susan to have an actual miscarriage, and Kevin (Hannibal Buress) hysterically refers to the situation as a "miscarriage of justice." Christ.
