15 Actors Stuck In Hollywood's Dog House

8. Vince Vaughn

This is likely a film career truly beyond saving. We all know how good Vaughn can be; Swingers proved he could act and Jurassic Park: The Lost World showed he had blockbuster appeal. Interesting films such as the drama Return To Paradise and The Cell pushed his popularity even higher and it appeared Vaughn was on the cusp of the Hollywood A-list. Then, for some unknown reason, Vaughn decided to make a few "comedies" and it all went spectacularly wrong. Since then it is a tragic tale of one terrible film followed by, quite frankly, an even more terrible one. Now typecast as the slightly overweight, (un)lovable rogue Vince Vaughn is a name synonymous with rubbish and even a well-received performance in Season 2 of HBO€™s True Detective promises little salvation from that well-deserved moniker. So What Next? Vaughn really needs either a new agent or a long overdue friendly call to his old Swingers pal Jon Favreau for a part where he can once again prove his worth.
