15 Actors Who Should Be Cast In The MCU's Fantastic Four

5. Nikolaj Coster-Waldau - Dr Doom

In the comics, Doctor Doom is about as powerful as a Marvel villain gets. But of course there's more to him than that. Victor is a man born into a noble tribe and a sorcerer with a genius level intellect.

After leaving his homeland and moving to the United States, he is left disfigured after an experiment gone wrong and becomes Doom as we know him today. Previous attempts to successfully bring this story to screen have been lacklustre at best, or re-written entirely.

Enter Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, the master of playing twisted, noble, complex villains one can't help but root for and admire. Thanks to an electrifying performance in Game of Thrones, Coster-Waldau has more than proven his acting clout and his uncanny ability to embody the role of multi-layered bad guy.

This is exactly what Doom needs, and is exactly why Coster-Waldau is a prime choice. Pair his acting chops with some great writing and a sinister mask, and he may just be the perfect actor. Like many on this list, too, he's more than deserving of some major box office appearances, and should he get the chance it's guaranteed he'd own every part of the role.
