4. Karl Urban - The Thing
Okay, we're cheating again. Karl Urban previously played the hilarious and badass-looking Skurge in Thor: Ragnarok, but as with David Harbour it could be that we never have to see his face; we only need his voice. And what a voice it is.
Karl Urban has become much more recognisable over the years, thanks to major roles in the rebooted Star Trek trilogy and the superhero drama The Boys. But he's still not reached the level of fame and success he's fully deserved. With a deep and menacing voice and an uncanny ability in most of his roles to mix comedy with violence, he would make one hell of a Ben Grimm.
His voice and range is perfect for the 7-foot beast of stone, and if paired with the right actor he could act out some seriously good moments of comedy. Also, his eye for drama is great, and this will be needed when balancing the funnier and more menacing side of The Thing with his tragic background and underlying anxieties.
